Hailing from Galveston but always repping H-town, Mel brings together a diverse background of over 10 years in fitness (we’re talking strength training to yoga teacher training over here) and personal development work to create a unique experience on the bike. Mel’s love for music started with painstaking playlists burned onto CDs for friends; you can expect the same level of care in any class you’re in with her.

Mel loves understanding what makes people tick and how people bounce back from things that are hard. She is passionate about the growth of any team she’s on and loves connecting with people whenever she can. She is a firm believer in the power of honesty, work ethic and celebration.

When she’s not making you sweat, you can find her slangin’ stretchy pants with some of the best people on the planet at lululemon, whipping up a “what do we have left in the fridge” ala Chopped dinner for her partner, Monica and/or overstating the cuteness of her two pups, Riley and Belle (to anyone that will listen).

Ilse M. Gonzalez is the Founder and CEO of Connect Media Firm, a local and woman owned marketing firm that offers services such as: social media management, content production, marketing consultations, and digital training. These services are provided to help entrepreneurs better connect with their clients and audience through the enhancement of their presence both in person and online. Ilse's passion for the media industry evolved during the four years that she spent working at a news station, Telemundo Houston. Her time at Telemundo allowed her to fill in various roles in the newsroom, marketing department, and cover historic events which she was recognized for with three Lone Star Emmy's. Her education and experience has allowed her to pursue her calling to be the helping hand for brands that are ready to make an impact in the digital world. During her time running her marketing firm Ilse has been able to work with businesses, creators and organizations from various industries and help them bring more awareness and exposure to their brand. Her focus is not only in assisting with the marketing of businesses, but also giving back to her community and helping recognize those that are making a difference in our city.
